The Sunat Hajat Prayer, Reading of Surah Yasin, and Special Doa Ceremony for His Majesty's health and well-being was held at all mosques, surau and religious halls throughout the country with the focal at Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kampung Kiarong. His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office graced the ceremony.
Also in attendance were His Royal Highness' brothers; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik and His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen. Also present was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was greeted by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara; Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy; and Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, State Mufti.
The Fardhu Maghrib Prayer was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar, who also led the Sunat Hajat Prayer and Reading of Surah Yasin.
The Special Doa was also read by Yang Berhormat Pehin to pray for His Majesty's immediate recovery, complete and lasting health and well-being.
The Fardhu Isya' Prayer was led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Mustafa Bin Haji Murat.
The religious events nationwide will continue on the 16th of January, namely the Sunat Hajat Prayer, Reading of Surah Yasin, and Special Doa Ceremony before the Fardhu Jumaat Prayer.
